Brian brings a remarkable blend of leadership experience, innovation, and passion for driving growth, collaboration, and excellence. Over his distinguished career, Brian has held key leadership roles across food-related industries, including most recently serving as CEO of Richelieu Foods, a premier manufacturer of private branded food products since 1862, now owned by German firm Frieberger.  He was previously CEO of Zentis U.S.A., a division of a 125-year global family-owned company specializing in processing and refining fruit and other raw materials. Earlier experience includes successful tenures at TreeHouse Foods, ConAgra Foods, and Ralcorp Holdings. At Conagra, Brian helped pioneer the first U.S. cereal lineup free of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives.

Brian earned his M.B.A. from Rockhurst University and holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina

Matt Miniat joined Miniat Holdings LLC in 2011 and has since played a key role in driving operational excellence and strategic growth across the company’s two divisions. His leadership spans Purchasing, Operations, and Business Development, including overseeing the $30MM Project Bonanza expansion as Plant Manager in 2015 and strengthening South Chicago Packing’s manufacturing, pricing, and cost management strategies as General Manager in 2018.

In his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Matt focuses on enhancing efficiency, innovation, and value creation across Miniat’s cooked meat and edible oil operations. He established a Business Development team to deepen culinary and technical expertise in fats and oils and launched a direct-to-consumer sales channel, broadening Miniat’s and SCP’s market presence.

Matt’s experience includes roles with Dawn Farm Foods in Ireland and Agentis Energy, a Chicago-based startup. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

A 5th generation Miniat family member, Matt is passionate about continuing the company’s legacy while pursuing new opportunities in the food industry.

Garrett joined Miniat Holdings in early 2024, bringing extensive financial expertise and strategic leadership to the organization. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, Garrett oversees financial operations for Miniat Holdings and collaborates with other leaders to drive company performance and deliver value to shareholders.

Before joining Miniat, Garrett served as CFO of the Prepared Foods division at Tyson Foods, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, optimizing revenue management, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. His experience spans business unit finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, international finance, and financial planning and analysis.

Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. His deep financial expertise and commitment to excellence position Miniat for continued growth and innovation.

Brings over 21 years of animal science and meat processing experience to our team. Before joining Miniat in 2016, he led product development and commercialization teams for one of the largest, branded FMCG food companies in the United States.

Has over 25 years’ experience in quality systems, food safety, and product development in the food industry. Prior to joining Miniat in 2016, Sue spent 19 years with a large producer of branded meat and poultry products in various quality leadership roles.

Has worked at Miniat for 13 years. She oversees all office functions and, most importantly, our customer service and pricing teams. Her get-it-done attitude ensures that our customers receive the highest level of support in a timely manner.

Has over 15 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain for some of the world’s leading food brands and distribution channels. Since joining Miniat in 2016, he has been a key stakeholder in our evolution into a continuous improvement focused organization, bringing ongoing innovation into manufacturing and supply processes.

Dave holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Marketing.

Larry is a proven leader in food manufacturing operations, with over 30 years of experience in plant oversight for some of the world’s leading brands. Since joining Miniat in early 2020, Larry he has successfully led the buildout and startup of our Carrollton location. He also provides leadership to our South Holland location, ensuring consistent and efficient manufacturing practices between Ed Miniat facilities.

Larry holds a BBA in Management from University of Georgia as well as multiple industry certifications.
